First and foremost, I wish to state that it is my conviction that private counselling/therapy is an investment towards your(your family's) life, and as such, I truly want to do the very best I can to ensure you get the most appropriate and applicable care, in the most efficient manner possible.
Within the spirit of the "Flip Flop" mentality, my fee structure is based on a sliding scale approach, in order to ensure therapy services are available to all who need it, not just those who can afford it.
If finances are a concerning factor in your seeking assistance at this time, please use the button provided to discuss the options I have available to help you receive the help you require, while also meeting your budget
** As mentioned within their respective pages, while longer sessions are not necessarily more helpful
(especially with younger children),
given the complexity of certain situations, (couples, and families with older adolescents/adult children come to mind),
more time is often helpful, and sometimes required, as multiple voices and relational dynamics frequently benefit from extended sessions to appropriately assess and address a particular area(s) concern.
As it is, sessions may (from time to time), vary in length, and therefore also cost. But rest assured, such a requirement will be well explained (to all parties involved), and will have been agreed upon prior to scheduling any such appointment/service.
Thanks for understanding!
Payment for services rendered is accepted in the form of:
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.*
*This being said, I do understand that things happen from time to time and will work with you, in a posture of mutual respect, to reschedule appointments when necessary
Unfortunately privatized psychotherapy sessions & services are not currently covered by OHIP. This being said, services may be wholly, or partially covered by your benefit provider depending on your individual level of personal health insurance and/or employee benefit health plan coverage. But even if you're certain you have coverage, it may be helpful to contact your benefit provider and ask some of the following questions prior to booking a session just to be sure:
Please Note:
When talking insurance, the term "psychological services" is reserved for those services provided by psychologists/psychiatrists only.
I am providing "psychotherapy services", as a qualifying member of the CRPO, who is supervised under a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with a supervisory designation.
****(please check your coverage carefully to avoid having to pay "out of pocket" for services rendered)****
